We’re working with a leading international company seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to join their growing technology team in Shannon, County Clare. This role is ideal for a cloud professional who thrives in complex, multi-cloud environments and enjoys driving automation, security, and operational excellence.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for managing and optimising cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across global environments. You’ll collaborate with DevOps, security, and development teams to deliver scalable and resilient cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates)

• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines and automation processes

• Monitor systems and troubleshoot performance issues

• Ensure cloud security and compliance standards are met

• Support cost optimisation, incident management, and disaster recovery

Skills & Experience

• 7+ years’ experience in cloud infrastructure or operations

• Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Proficient in Terraform and scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)

• Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools

• Solid understanding of networking, security, and monitoring

• Relevant certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP) highly desirable
